Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please, send me a short email and I would be happy to book our first session. This is an opportunity for me to understand what issue brings you here. After that, I will send you a follow-up email. If we agree to proceed, I will send you more details. I am happy to answer specific questions over a 10-minute phone call, ahead of the first session, if you wish. Please note that payment for the first session is due 24h in advance to secure the time slot. Thereafter, payment is due on the day of the session. Payments made before or after the session are equally fine at this stage. Please, make your payment by bank transfer.

  • You can choose between face-to-face in Oxford or online. In person sessions are in a small practice in central Oxford. Walk-and-talk sessions are available on request, depending on the season. For online sessions, I will send you a Teams link on the day of our session. Please, keep in mind the importance of finding a quiet time and space. You will also need good Wi-Fi signal.

  • Yes, all that you bring is protected by client confidentiality. I will not disclose your identity, the contents or any detail of our sessions outside of our sessions. However, please note that I regularly undertake coaching supervision. This is a process of professional development, where I might discuss topics from clients’ sessions anonymously, with a more experienced coach. Supervision is a professional and ethical duty for all coaches. You can rest assured that it is equally protected by client confidentiality.

  • I require a full business day (24 hours) of notice. E.g. A session on Tuesday at 9:00am must be cancelled or re-scheduled before Monday 9:00am, but a session on Monday at 9:00am must be cancelled or re-scheduled before Friday 9:00am. If the notice period is not observed, I reserve the right to charge the missed session in full.

  • I currently charge £75 per 60-minutes session. For students: if you are over 18 years old, in full-time education, and genuinely cannot afford this, feel free to contact me and we can discuss a reduced rate for a fixed amount of time.

  • We can discuss this as we go along. As a rule, I offer the following options: Short-term, solution-focused work: we contract a series of six sessions. By the sixth session, we will discuss where you are at. We can then decide to contract for another series of six or conclude the work there. Open-ended: I will do periodical check-ins and review our work once a year.

  • Because all the work I conduct is confidential, I do not ask or publish testimonials, as this would be a breach of the code of practice. If anything concerns you during our sessions, I encourage you to discuss this openly with me. If you are happy with our work and would like to recommend me, you are welcome to use good, old-fashioned “word of mouth” only.

  • I am currently accepting new clients, with limited availability for in-person sessions.
